This is the kind of story that makes you smile.

7 paintings that were looted from their owners by the Nazis during the 1930s are being returned to their owners, after the families’ claim for the paintings were validated last year by the French Government. All 7 paintings were intended for an art gallery that Adolf Hitler wanted to build in Linz, Austria.

4 of the paintings in question currently hang in the Louvre musuem in Paris.
